"Love Yourself" is a reflection on our crazy brains and how they can sabotage us with small, repeated, and harmful thoughts and stories we tell ourselves. Ultimately, we must be forgiving of our shortcomings and learn to accept and appreciate that we exist imperfectly and are doing our best.

Love Yourself
Lyrics by Stephen Glenn
You’ve entertained yourself
Now the day is late, your head is on the shelf
And all the worries that you think might be inside
Are small, if there at all, when out of sight
And there’s no containment
For liquid wishes wanting to spill
Trapped inside your shell
You’ve got the brains, it’s just it hurts as much as helps
Rubber bands that pull you every way at once
Fuel’s run out and you haven’t moved
You’re a force of nature, burning the wheel it should turn
And it’d feel so good
To be understood
Every time you’re about to do it, it all falls apart
But don’t hate yourself
Harmless little lies
They seem so meaningless, yet keep you up at night
You know you shouldn’t let these demons exercise
The voice that gets the mic should be so kind
And you don’t remember, the last time you cared for yourself
And it’d feel so good
To be understood
Every time you’re about to do it, it all falls apart
But don’t hate yourself
You’ve had this conversation, no one’s ever changed your mind
What if your golden age wasn’t ever left behind?
And it’d feel so good
To be understood
Every time you’re about to do it, it all falls apart
And you do it, and it all falls apart
And you do it, and it all falls apart
But don’t hate yourself

Chase is a dear friend and a production wiz. His passion for music (and much more) spills out all over the place and makes a huge mess :D. His talents really shine through on these two tracks! Catamaran
What an ALBUM. These songs are urgent and chaotic, with really unique arrangements, melodies and dissonances. And vocals & words with a potent message. Kevin Brady
More ambient and exploratory than their motorik-heavy debut, Dummy continues to evolve into a more confident band with its own distinct creative vision on EP2. Admo
The video for "Theurgist," from True Widow's forthcoming "Avvolgere," is as prismatic & hypnotic as the song it accompanies. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 15, 2016
